Last week New Girl came back and while not as strong as I expected, I was hoping this week would redeem itself. It makes me sad, but “womp womp” it was so whatever. I think that this season is a little too serious. This week Nick realizes that he is Jess’s “emotional fluffer”. You know, the guy that fills a girls emotional needs while she has meaningless exploits with something else. Winston finds himself mentally cheating on his girlfriend since she seems to only ever want to watch TV, and Schmidt pretends to be a Romney son. Anyhow, here are the best quotes, heavily carried by our oh so lovely Schmidt!
“Friends help friends have meaningless sex”- Schmidt
“You know they have Romney olympics every Summer at the lake house? I bet that’s a hoot. It’s like the real olympics, only the white people win the sprints”- Schmidt
“You know I can’t build a dresser and pleasure a woman at the same time, you know? I’m not god.”- Sam

Hi all,
I recently moved to San Francisco and FINALLY have my cable set up (3 technicans from Comcast in a week….ergghh) so I am ready to blog again!
With the Fall season just about in full swing I plan on continuing most of my reviews with a few new ones.
Here is a tentative list.
Gossip Girl
Pretty Little Liars
New Girl
The Mindy Project
Modern Family
30 Rock
Glee
Parks and Recreation
Parenthood
Now that I am going back to school, I won’t be able to watch shows live ‘cus of late classes =/, but I have my DVR all queued up for reviews late night or early morning.
I am glad to be back =)

I have disqus on the posts, it doesn’t work??
Round and Round- Imagine Dragon
Pure domination of male vocals this week on Gossip Girl. Something a little different for the show. And OMG, does this song reflect what this show has become now. Literally, I feel like, as a viewer, I am going round and round and round and round in circles. Storyline felt forced. Writers, why you no care about show? Nonetheless, cool song.

Love Is A Fire- Courrier
Oh Gossip Girl…
Love is a fire and it’s burning me down. Chuck and Blair. It pains me to see you guys apart. Reunite already!
PS: I think I need to start listening to more of Courrier. I like =)

Halfway Home-Tribes
Tonight on Gossip Girl Chuck and Bart reunite after years. If only that could cure the strain between them. This played when Andrew the investigator was arrested for working for the man who threatened to kill Bart, Lily, and Chuck. This song poetically portrayed that exact strain. Made me sad, but that’s why I loved it.

This week Jess attempts to get over her breakup with Russ, by backsliding with good ole Paul! Schmidt’s penis is still broken. Nick is considering moving in with Caroline, and Winston is sporting (horribly) an earring.
Best quotes/moments of tonight’s New Girl.
“The economy stinks, bees are dying, today’s movies are pretty much all sequels, and my penis is broken”- Schmidt
“I’m gonna be a single old lady flashing people on the subway”- Jess
Paul’s crying montage
“If you hurt her I will let myself die and then haunt you”- Cece’s Bhabi
“Is emotional intimacy turning you on?”- Cece
“Sex is a sprint, not a marathon”- Nick

This week Kurt and Rachel prepare for their NYATA auditions, the New Direction girls learn that domestic abuse is no joke, and the Puck realizes that he doesn’t want to fail out of high school. The songs impressed me this week, mostly because I felt that they did a good job of evoking emotion. Rachel choked on her audition while Kurt rocked it with a risky song, Coach Beast admits that her husband abused her, and while all the glee guys helped Puck, he still couldn’t pass his class. Here are the songs of the night.

This week Gossip Girl did it. It brought back some of the first season charm with scheming, decoding, and fun (if your idea of fun, and well who’s isn’t, is to crash a high class brothel).
Spit You Out- Lissy Trullie
Favorite track of tonight’s episode of Gossip Girl. With Serena’s sad life behind a computer and Chuck going through the worst family history project EVER, I felt like this was ever so appropriate. Kind of a Mantra for some of these characters?
